Congratulations, Jonas!!! So proud of you as I know your whole family is. I hope you are, too. Graduating college is no mean feat, but you did it —and in style. Enjoy all the encomiums coming your way!!

You are an inspiration, Nicole. AND SO ARE YOUR PARENTS. (Sorry I never got back to you Wayne, but I did watch the 7th game on TV!)

Well said, Steve. Like you, I never wanted to leave the Ledger, but knew Mohamed.com was going to struggle to find its mission. And like you, the Ledger is responsible for making me the journalist I am today. I will always root for it and nj.com - and you.

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about the DOOMSDAY CLOCK. I’m now soliciting guesses as to what time the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists will set the Doomsday Clock next year. In Jan 2020 it was set at 100 seconds to midnight #Doomsdayclock #theapocalypse

I am so sorry to read this. Sue was as dependable as they come and never hesitated to help out on a story. Old school in all the best ways.

Emily F. Popek Adrienne Martini I was going to suggest this one. I also think Becoming Nicole by Amy Ellis Nutt is a must read as it follows Natalie Maines whose fight for transgender student rights was monumental.

I haven’t tweeted in ages but this story rosemaryparrillo.com/post/my-father… by my dear friend and former editor Rosemary Parrillo from The Star-Ledger is worth your time. Written for #MemorialDay2022 but the excruciating WW II analogy to #UvaldeschoolMassacre will take your breath away. Please read.
