Part of Revelation chapter 12 is emphasizing 1,260 days as in Revelation 12:6 KJV taken with Revelation 12:13-17 KJV. The 1,260 days matches that of Revelation 11:3 KJV. The final 3.5 years or 42 months of the 7 years is 1,290 days in Daniel 12:11.

“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelation 12:17 KJV - “wroth” in Greek below meaning “to provoke or enrage” from orgay or “wrath”.

Revelation 12:17 KJV stresses the wrath of the devil on the seed of the woman or New Jerusalem, which is Jesus’ promise seed.

There is an interesting meaning in having the “seal of God” in Revelation 9:4 KJV sfrag-ece' in Greek of “a signet (as fencing in or protecting from misappropriation)” from Greek root fras'-so “to fence or inclose, i.e. (specially), to block up”. The forehead is closed with it.

It seems in Revelation 9:4 KJV there’s an emphasis in Greek of a battle today of the human mind of the saints e.g. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 KJV being no longer applicable when God gives this seal on the forehead.

The locusts of Revelation 9:1-12 are a judgment on whosoever has not the seal of God. This judgment is on unbelievers.

Considering how much spiritual warfare the saints endure in the Bible, the locusts on them that have not the seal of God in their foreheads is short in comparison e.g. 5 months.

“And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.” Revelation 9:5 KJV - of unbelievers that have not the seal of God in their foreheads

“And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.” Revelation 9:4 KJV

“And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.” Revelation 9:3 KJV

Technically, Revelation chapter 7 has parts of the martrydom “great multitude of all nations” stressing Gentiles that is likely connected to Revelation chapter 13 or the last 42 months of the 7 years. But Revelation chapter 7 comes well before Revelation chapter 13 in sequence.

The locusts of Revelation 9 have a king over them, see Revelation 9:11 KJV. This shows God using these locusts, that appear to be demonic, to torment unbelievers. The devil is wroth with the woman and her seed (Revelation 12:17 KJV). But Satan fights Satan here (Mark 3:24-26).

“And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.” Mark 3:24-26 KJV

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” 1 John 2:15 KJV

“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” James 4:4 KJV

Jesus to His disciples: “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” John 15:19 KJV - “hateth” in Greek mis-eh'-o means “to detest, especially to persecute”

Jesus: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:” Matthew 7:13 KJV

Jesus: “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:14 KJV - “narrow” in Greek thlee'-bo means “suffer, tribulation, afflict, compressed way”, “few” in Greek ol-ee'-gos means “puny in number, few”.
