In the wake of storms across the state, the Alabama Forestry Commission deployed 4-, 5-, and 6-man saw teams to 4 counties. At least 9 AFC crews are clearing roads with chainsaws and dozers, opening paths for emergency responders. When disaster strikes, the AFC is on the scene.

Yesterday, I was briefed by the Alabama Forestry Commission to assess our state's dangerous dry conditions. It's important we remain responsible during these high-risk times. To protect Alabama the Beautiful and her communities, we must refrain from ALL burning activities. #alpolitics

What a great time with Rick Oates and his team at the Alabama Forestry Commission recently, at a prescribed burn in Crenshaw County. They are a huge asset to our state. It was a fun day! 💪🏻🇺🇸
