We had a blast joining Hammond Middle School at their Back-to-School event! It was great connecting with families, handing out safety tips, and cheering on students as they get ready for a brand-new school year.

Applications are now open for the Fall 2025 Alexandria Community Fire Academy! This free, hands-on program runs Mondays, October 6 – November 10, 6–9 p.m. Space is limited to 12 participants. Apply by September 20 (or until filled) at: alexandriava.gov/Academies

This past weekend, we had the opportunity to visit two local preschools: Madison Day Preschool and Great Beginnings Preschool. Our firefighters enjoyed engaging with the students, answering their thoughtful questions, and sharing important lessons about fire safety.
