I've been encouraged to share what is happening with the Trump administration and how it affects my research: 1. my grant submitted to NICHD is not being reviewed this week as scheduled. I submitted it in October 2024. 1/🧵

5. The grant is studying if we should stop seizures in children in the PICU and the method that is the safest. This work will not happen without funding. I have $0 philanthropic and $0 pharma money-- it's just a simple question that no one will profit off of.

6. Your child or grandchild or niece or nephew might get worse care if they ever end up in the ICU with a brain injury without us studying this very simple, hospital-based research project.
