I am so impressed with the vaccination rollout in Greece. Yesterday I got my 2nd dose, the moment the needle hit my arm I got an SMS from the gov explaining how to get my EU digital certificate. After the nightmare I had in Catalonia, I'm very proud to call this country home 🇬🇷❤️

Most of Athens is now covered in smog and ash, as the fire in Varympompi continues to burn. Picture taken from the southern suburb of Faliro - some 20km away from the blaze.

Some indoor venues in Athens are turning away customers who do not have vaccination certificates or (as in my case) have received the second dose within less than 14 days. No air conditioning for me today :)
