We take on new WordPress maintenance and break-fix projects every month. And our process is always to get admin access to the backend, add the website to WP Remote, and do a backup. That way, if anything goes sideways, we can quickly recover even without hosting access. WP

Today i presume cost of creating software of even higher complexity to be effectively zero. However after speaking to quite a few folks on ver the past 2 days at WCEU it seems that we are the odd one out. Most have barely changed the way they make software.

I'm on the cusp of releasing a pretty cool #podcast / #podcasting plugin for #WordPress. I've never done this before, and I'm quite excited! DM if you use WordPress, have a podcast and would like to be a beta tester. It'll make things easier and more beautiful!

There is a new version of chatgpt o3(gpt5?)wherein it seems to ask a bunch of clarifications before answering. In theory this is a good thing as it means that we get an answer which is not too rambling. However I also noticed that I just don’t want to type. Google has made us

Our education system has barely evolved to take advantage of the internet. It will resist and maybe not even acknowledge AI for years.

So far I found WP Umbrella to be not stable enough to use on live site as backups fail all the time for my clients. BlogVault so far has been working perfectly. If WP Umbrella's backup gets much more stable, I'd consider using it again.

Ryan @ InfluenceWP.com WP Umbrella ⓦ I did, but that's quite a time ago since I've been evaluating their service quite from the beginning. I don't think the support solved the issue. Same site, same server, BlogVault goes well. WP Umbrella failed. That's it.

Takuya Are you still using RunCloud for your server management? If so, we already have backup there. Let me know if any issues. Besides, I personally use RunCloud and mainly BlogVault since 2017. Not a single failure in 8+ yrs.

Akshat Choudhary Thanks, your backups have helped me over years. Reliable and stable, with quick support responses. Now my all maintenance plans are based on Plus/Pro plans.

From Zero to Scale by Arindam Paul “There are only three ways a consumer brand grows. You either create more things to sell, or sell the same things in more places, or get more people to choose you over someone else. Everything else is noise. You grow through your product,

Have seen this photo many times over the years. Obviously it is so inspiring and intimidating but something always confounded me. How can you even find something by inspecting scrap metal? Was telemetry not the answer? Well apparently not enough. ChatGPT gave this example:

Eventually the mediocre programmers too will get the 100x benefit. For that either of these 2 will happen: 1. The masters will create frameworks which everyone can use. 2. AI becomes smart enough that it becomes self-directing.

Gpt-5-high is crazy good at instruction following. 1000 bullet points of nuanced instructions with cross references. Every single point was adhered to perfectly while solving the overall code correctly. First real competition to sonnet. Maybe even topped it.
