Best TRANSFORMERS movie? No. Good? Yes.

#TransformersOne is one of the better entries in the franchise by default. Its standard kid movie trappings and rushed story keep it from reaching greatness. But when it’s good, it kicks ass, particularly in the second half. Brian Tyree Henry is fantastic. Fans should be pleased.

Good to know that Will Ferrell is an honest-to-god mensch.

Of course we all loved her. How could you not? With a voice that could go from flutey to forbidding like a piano scale, cheekbones that could cut glass, a gaze that never wavered, and peerless comic timing matched only by dramatic ability, Maggie Smith was one for the ages. RIP.
