This is the new The Green Party councillor for Harehills Leeds just after October 7th.
“Supposedly Hamas” carried out the atrocities on Oct 7th.
He’s denying Hamas’ involvement in those atrocities.

Tim Allen Times Radio Lord Ed Vaizey The question now, having tested the Times Radio compliance department’s limits with the LBJ story, is if during the next show I can get the _really_ fruity Gough Whitlam anecdotes in 🤔

Not an original grumble from me, but I think it’s absurd that some election counts are only just beginning on Saturday morning.

British democracy is usually brisk (certainly compared to the US) and we should pride ourselves on telling voters who they elected ASAP.

in the hazy period well known to nighthawks that sits somewhere indefinable between late night and early morning.

I, he boasted, could go to New Jersey & get back here in 15 minutes. I could go get a plane & fly it right to this bar if I wanted to.

This is incredibly satisfying to watch.

A no nonsense approach to a gobby, disrespectful idiot who's clearly never been told 'no' in his life.

Actions should have consequences.
This is how policing should be.

Tim Allen Times Radio Lord Ed Vaizey It’s ironic really that the “profanity sandwich” Times Radio gave me last night -

- we are sorry for what Alex is about to say

<Alex speaks>

- we are sorry for what Alex just said

Is of general utility in one’s life but only now deployed

Thank you to Tim Allen & the excellent Times Radio production team for these snaps of me providing the profanity-laden light relief for Lord Ed Vaizey’s show. What a pleasure to talk political history with Ed & Professor Tony Travers!

Ok...

The full data has been released by London Elects and I've done some digging.

In areas the Tories won, the turnout is up 6.5k votes.

In areas the Labour party won, the turnout is down ~42k votes.

Only a small swing is required for Khan to lose.

Election counts should take place overnight asap once polls close. Prompt is good - both for transparency and trust, and as an engaging, exciting process.

A fine example of a polite but form rebuttal thread. This is why I read twitter: among the dross, there are some far better threads than you find in the media.
