I just sent this email to all 13,000 federal employees of the NOAA lol. The Trump administration's changes to their communications system made it so literally anyone can blast messages out to the entire agency

We have multiple chances for super tornado outbreaks through the middle of March! Now is not the time to carve up the National Weather Service! We at Team Dominator have always been huge supporters of our friends at the NWS. Even I cannot make a forecast without their valuable

Today is a huge step in the wrong direction for accurate weather forecasting, science, and public safety. NWS cuts will directly affect the data which ALL meteorologists use to forecast. In less words, we will get it wrong a lot more frequently. And THAT will impact you.

NEW: A National Weather Service employee tells me office credit cards have been limited to $1, preventing repair of equipment, travel, etc. This may affect tornado damage surveys next Tuesday/Wednesday.

Across just the Plains states, these offices are “critically understaffed” and now require “mutual aid” from other NWS offices: Cheyenne Goodland Jackson KY Kansas City Marquette Omaha Rapid City Wichita Denver Sioux Falls Grand Forks

Dust storm underway in northern Mexico, southern New Mexico, and far West Texas. LOTS of dust can be expected through the Central and Southern Plains over the next 24-36 hours, being kicked up by 50-70+mph wind gusts.

We're looking at a potentially very unusual overnight wildfire environment. We've received a lot of questions about the best ways to receive alerts for nearby fires. A short thread of options available:

Just to recount... Paducah meteorologists don't have proper bathrooms and Louisville meteorologists can't gather tornado survey data. It's absolutely embarrassing what's happening to our weather service.
