Had SWR operated these MEMU trains, Yelahanka-Byappanahalli commute would take just 17-21 minutes. From Byappanahalli, passengers could switch to Metro to travel anywhere. With Metro's Blue Line still two-three years away, running MEMU services every 20 minutes during peak hours
If blue line metro (or any metro line) is further delayed due to tunnel or any other infra project, that’s the worst mistake our city can make. Nothing can help our city more than the metro, bus and the suburban train. All others can wait.
Dear Indian academia,
I hate you. As an Indian, I am at a loss for words to condemn the extreme toxicity that prevails in academia. Please have mercy on us—we are not terrorists, but simply students who once dreamed of becoming researchers.
I hate you, Indian academia.
Huntington’s disease is brutal.
A single DNA error → toxic protein → dead brain cells.
No cure. Always fatal. Always inherited.
But now? Science has flipped the script.
How the new gene therapy works:
1️⃣ Huntington’s mutation makes a toxic protein that kills neurons.
2️⃣
Huntington's disease was successfully treated for the first time with gene therapy.
75% reduction in symptoms & 113% protection of cognition.
This is what a real medical breakthrough looks like.
