Y’all thought that pre landing hover done on New Shepard as done for fun didn’t you? Didn’t think it was being used to test and develop New Glenn’s landing profile before it even launched.

This is the kind of cooperative, supportive spirit we need from spaceflight companies. Competition drives innovation and improvement. But cooperation and support ensures that when one falls- no ones too proud to stop and help Eager to see this new era of commercial spaceflight

People forget that with enough speed even a cube can generate enough lift to stay aloft (Generally that speed is hypersonic at which point heat is your greater concern). So New Glenn’s aft fins ABSOLUTELY are producing lift and are noticeably extending its landing range.

I don’t know why the L-1011 has suddenly gotten so much love on my timeline lately- But I’m 100% for it. The L-1011 was an amazing aircraft that deserved more success than it got.

While people are comparing New Glenn V2 to SLS- it’s important to note that even this new variant still can’t send Orion to the moon. As Orion is 26.5t & NGv2 has a TLI capability of 20t. 6.5t short. And still no discussion or mention of an expendable NG

An upgraded propulsion module would add quite a bit of weight. Not including expanded life support, comms, heat shielding, and more. Dragon’s DV and free flight ECLSS is already lackluster.

Absolutely insane how something Walt repeatedly chose to be a part of his parks will be entirely absent in a few more years And it’s not like interest in clowns or rodeos that were shortly popular before losing their appeal with the public Kids AND adults STILL find Dino’s cool

Robert Smith David Willis Aero Big Mike Falcon 9 literally didn't failed for 5 years until the 19th mission. All was operational. Sure wasn't entirely flawless (like the first one rotated so badly after liftoff that it was a luck that none of Merlins hit the launch mount), but you just can't compare the two.

Falcon 9 is amazing. Absolutely revolutionizing spaceflight- However. It’s still a far cry from the capability and versatility of the space shuttle. Space shuttle flew more people with comanifested cargo- it built a space station, servicing missions, etc etc

NASA’s Lost Apollo Tech Video Update: I’m finishing up work on the video now- I have a few more touches & improvements As a result I’m moving up the release date dramatically- now planning to drop it on January 3rd, 2026 Work is underway on my next video, not conspiracy based.

A quick reminder that the Administrator cannot cancel rocket/spacecraft programs. That’s Congress’ job. He can at most- request budget amendments to these programs. I think Jared Isaacman will be a good administrator but it’s important to keep his power in mind.

This is the worst attempt to salvage Mary Sue Rey’s flaws. “She scratched it a little bit” Lando literally tore off the comms dish in episode 6 & he is clearly shown to be a competent pilot Real student pilots do worse because they aren’t blessed with plot powers.
