How can I retire when i have a number of young people in Uganda still focused on European Football ? Arsenal and Manchester consuming much of their time - Yoweri K Museveni asking the youth to shift their focus for him to retire in peace.

The new Prime Minister of Italy Georgia Meloni (despite her reactionary and problematic conservative views) has excellently exposed France’s and Macron’s evil and predatory neo-colonialism in the African continent. This is a relevant discourse.

The source began to decline thus becoming slightly scarce . It was then more difficult to obtain the rubber, as many individuals had to climb tall trees to reach the vines. People may often drop from the trees and fall to their deaths.

GMB in the public press for not paying farmers, contrary to their shameful claims. With few weeks left for farmers to plant the next wheat crop, GMB leadership is still snoring in bed, dreaming “All wheat farmers are paid!”. Can someone wake them up. bullszimbabwe.com/wheat-farmers-…

Local soya bean prices have been going down in the last two weeks because Oil Processors are importing Zambian soya bean undermining local farmers. Millers do the same with wheat. To earn a living, farmers should come together and import cooking oil and flour to sell locally.

If Zimbabweans are made to believe that allowing importation of basic goods will close local industries, what does importation of wheat and soya beans do to local farmers and our Agricultural industry? Why are Oil Processors and Millers importing soya bean and wheat?

Collen Gura (@gura_collen) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Millers are not accepting wheat deliveries because their silos are full! Government allowed them in 2023 to import wheat at the expense of local farmers. These imports, plus recent disclosure in parly that GMB is technically broke, reduced wheat prices by 28.8% down to US$370!

Please do not argue that GMB is an alternative market for the local wheat. It is a financial trap. Farmers are already impoverished, how far down do you want them to go. Doesn't this attracts the question, "Who benefits when the Government or Millers import food?"
