Meditation Ven Marie-Thérèse: Preserve inner freedom in everything you do - even in doing good. Often ask yourself this question : "If I were by myself with God alone, if I did not know or love or fear this person, would I act in just the same way ?"

Today's Gospel Matthew 23:27-32 In the same way you appear to people from the outside like good honest men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

Meditation Ven Marie-Thérèse: Words which often move me and which this morning impressed themselves upon my heart during Communion, came powerfully back to mind. I repeated them lovingly: Corpus Domini ! BODY OF GOD !

Today's Gospel Mark 6:17-29 She replied, ‘The head of John the Baptist.’ The girl hurried straight back to the king and made her request, ‘I want you to give me John the Baptist’s head, here and now, on a dish.’

Meditation Ven Marie-Thérèse: Either He will support us with His own power and will work a fresh marvel for us, to give one more proof that He is the only protector of His work of love; or He will break us, in order to give us a crown like that of our Divine Redeemer.

Today we remember the anniversary of the death of our Foundress, Ven. Mother Marie-Thérèse Dubouché who died on 30th August 1863. Ven. Mother Marie-Thérèse pray for us.

Today's Gospel Matthew 25:14-30 “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have shown you can be faithful in small things, I will trust you with greater; come and join in your master’s happiness”.

Meditation Ven Marie-Thérèse: Charity means in the first place to be one with Jesus, through Love, as He is one with His Father. And, as a result, to love one another as He loves us.

Today's Gospel Luke 4:16-30 “The Spirit of the Lord has been given to me, for he has anointed me. He has sent me to bring the good news to the poor, to proclaim liberty to captives and to the blind new sight, to set the downtrodden free, to proclaim the Lord’s year of favour.”

Meditation Ven Marie-Thérèse: Our Lord made me understand the beauty of a Eucharistic Vocation. It is like being on Mount Tabor ! And God showed me that in the Blessed Sacrament, Jesus is always present in splendid brightness pleasing to Him.

Today's Gospel Luke 4:38-44 At sunset all those who had friends suffering from diseases of one kind or another brought them to him, and laying his hands on each he cured them. Devils too came out of many people, howling, ‘You are the Son of God.’

Meditation Ven Marie-Thérèse: God loves us. So. let us be happy in the midst of our crosses. Let us go towards our goal, keeping our eyes closed to the future. In order to walk, we need to know where to put our feet at each given moment. That is what St. Joseph did.

Today's Gospel Luke 6:6-11 Then Jesus said to them, ‘I put it to you: is it against the law on the sabbath to do good, or to do evil; to save life, or to destroy it?’

Meditation Ven Marie-Thérèse: When things are going wrong, whatever they may be and we are helpless, let us believe that our all loving and wise Father has a meaning in them we cannot see. Let us leave all in His hands and be at peace.

Today's Gospel Luke 6:20-26 ‘Alas for you when the world speaks well of you! This was the way their ancestors treated the false prophets.’

Meditation Ven Marie-Thérèse: St. Joseph, guardian of Jesus and Mary, give us a spark of the love that filled and consumed your heart, that we may adore, in spirit and in truth, Him who is our Maker, and now abides with us as 'the work of human hands' in the Holy Eucharist.

Today's Gospel Luke 6: 3-42 Take the plank out of your own eye first, and then you will see clearly enough to take out the splinter that is in your brother’s eye.’

Meditation Ven Marie-Thérèse: When we kneel before the Real Presence of our God in the Eucharist, let us remember His infinite majesty which is far above all the heavens. He is so high that we cannot see Him, nor even guess at Him. He chose to come down to us...God is Love
