Hard to believe 2009 was the last time. And, I remember walking out of the rink after hearing our season was over the day before a road trip to Calgary like it was yesterday. Very exciting for professional women’s hockey to be back in Vancouver.

Congrats to Kennedy Sisson (RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna) for being named to Canada’s National Women’s Under-18 Team for a three-game series against the United States! Sisson will travel to Lake Placid, New York, to rep the Maple Leaf from August 13-16!

Thinking of being on coaching staffs, building a culture of coming with solutions has been transformative. And, I don’t think we can expect people to start at level 4. Level 4 assumes shared mental models, clear understanding of purpose and process. This takes time.
