Incredible to see the safe active travel routes build in the last 4 years by East Dun Council. Pin to show a speed camera just across the boundary, on a popular route.
Meanwhile East Dun Council are unsure if Main Street, Milngavie, has a cycle lane. The website say yes, map on the same website says no and roads team repainted only some of it 🤪
To cycle safety between Bearsden and Briggs in East Dun Council to need leave the area. Thankfully Glasgow City Council and Scottish Canals are building Dutch style proper infrastructure to help. Let’s hope one day ED care enough to link towns and business via active travel directly.
Come one come all! Marvel at the complete lack of safe routes to get here! Wonder at the magical disappearing cycle path! Be fearful of sceptical locals who think you’re odd for not driving everywhere! It’s all part of East Dun Council’s climate emergency!
Craigdhu path still collapsing into the ditch. w3w.co/shuts.mobile.c… East Dun Council can we get this repaired before winter makes it worse? Path also severely damaged towards the junction to Seafield Ave. Schools are starting up and this is a core route for pupils to scoot/cycle.
Great news, looks like East Dun Council are making Manse Road a little bit safer for residents.
