Furman traveled to the Central Carolina Manufacturing Technology training center for the 2nd annual STEAM event today. I am so PROUD to announce that our kiddos took home the trophy for the second year in a row!! They were determined and focused the entire time!

This week's alumni spotlight is former infielder, Tyler Cappelmann. Cappelmann graduated in '11 with a degree in Business Management. He is a Division Manager for Waffle House. Him & his wife Ashley have two kids, Langley (8) & Fisher (5).

Lakewood had an adventure on the diamond last night! The Lady Gators lost a marathon with Camden 17-13 after committing a wild 12 errors. The baseball team, meanwhile, saw a competitive game slip away quickly in a 17-3 loss. theitem.com/stories/lakewo…
