Peace is a cornerstone of our global mission. We stand with the people of Ukraine.💙💛 We have all been deeply troubled by the ongoing and escalating war in Ukraine. The humanitarian impact is severe, with one million people fleeing the country and in dire need of emergency aid.

The #abingdon #Rotary stall on Rye Farm Meadow for the #jubilee celebrations raised nearly £100, selling home made bracelets. This will go towards making mud stoves for communities in #MUBENDE #Uganda. These #environmentallyfriendly stoves save wood, time, & could help save lives

A tad early, but it has been a topsy turvy 2 years for #Rotary. President Astrid Nielsen-Schuurmans who has helped hold the club together for 2 years, hands over the 'chain of office' to incoming President - Sulwen Vaughan, at our meeting at The Cosener's House last Tuesday

There are no Christmas lunches where members normally help out with on Christmas Day this year, instead we donated a sum of money to Abingdon, Oxfordshire Churches. They are distributing food hampers to the lonely and needy families in the area
