Without a mask mandate, I really believe I'm going to finally get COVID when I get back to mandatory in-person teaching in September. My employer is essentially setting me up for possible chronic illness for a disease I have avoided for almost 3 years. Fuck.

kate Alberta sadly had 42 people who lost their lives to Covid in the past week and that's before school started. Scary to think how many people will die in the months to come with kids taking Covid back to their parents, grandparents and younger siblings.
