Amidst ongoing midterm Universal Periodic Review consultations, AAYFO attended the Youth UPR Consultation meeting convened by UNATanzania at PSSSF Complex, Dar es Salaam. This was an opportunity for young people to express their perspectives & recommendations on UPR Process.

With the invitation of Chinese Embassy in Tanzania. AAYFO is attending the China-Africa Youth Festival in Beijing, which promotes cultural exchange and foster conversation on Youth role in strengthening the long-standing ties between Africa and China. AAYFO is represented by Joseph Brighton Malekela.

China-Africa Youth Festival is convened in accordance to consensus reached by leaders of #China and #African countries at the Johannesburg Summit on China-Africa Cooperation in 2015. The forum promotes cultural exchange, mutual understanding, and the long-standing friendship.

Hongera! The 8th China-Africa Youth Festival kicked off in Beijing on May 20. Hope our Tanzanian young friends Joseph Brighton Malekela & Belinda together with youth from China & other African countries gain a deep understanding of each other and forge a profound friendship.
