Today, Ukraine and the world commemorate the 82nd anniversary of the Babyn Yar massacre, one of the most terrible Nazi crimes committed during the Holocaust. I paid tribute to the victims and thanked the Ukrainian Jewish community leaders for coming to pray and commemorate them.
The Holocaust. Babyn Yar. I thank everyone who honors the victims of the Nazi massacre in Babyn Yar and the Righteous Among the Nations who saved Jews during WWII. Nazi evil was punished and will never return. Because people remember, Ukraine remembers, and the world remembers.
