What happened in Ozoro was a grave act of violence. The circulation of the footages extends the harm and compounds the violation of those affected. No one consents to having their trauma recorded, shared, or consumed online. Distributing such material does not support justice,

it undermines dignity and exposes survivors to further harm. Accountability requires responsible action from all of us, offline and online. Violence can be condemned without reproducing it.
