There’s no shortage of talent in #NISD! We loved seeing the incredible creativity our students bring every day at Los Leones Festival. 👏 Also, who knew stacking cups could be a competition? I was blown away! 🏆🥤 Turns out, speed and precision make all the difference! ⏳✨

4th graders at Elrod ES are “seeing” how to fill in the area of a model. We used Minecraft Education to build out math equations of area and perimeter. Then they typed out how they solved the equations. I loved hearing “Ms. Soto, I really like this!” NISD Academic Tech #NISDBLIA

Today I had the chance to see the Esports Finals & the Solar Cars competition — and I’m blown away! It’s incredible to watch students apply their creativity, skills, & passion using the technology our dept provides. Moments like these are a reminder of why we do what we do!
