SANTACO is not the “apex body representing various modes of transport” in South Africa. The Taxi industry is not a “public transport”, it’s private transport. Public transport is provided by the State. Taxis were framed as “public” transport under derogatory premises by whites.

The taxi industry is the reason we don’t have an efficient transportation system network in SA because they threaten any gov alternative system. In Pretoria BRT doesn’t go to townships, it ends in White suburbs because SANTACO said no in townships. Fuck the taxi industry

Gayton McKenzie Why when we tag you on collapsed sports fields in our communities you never answer, but as soon as it's celebrities you jump, you are not just an entertainment minister.

I do not want Pirates to lose against Sundowns this weekend, I want a draw, I want them to lose the second leg. They must then win after that against Stellenbosch & then it must be back to factory settings. Their losses must be staggered!

A black man was killed and burned by his fellow black men for trying to put food on his table. I need the people of Soweto to show taxi drivers that they are touchable.

Taxi associations are already attacking those organised transport to a fro work. Woolworths has that initiative already and staff transport get attacked even at night unless the owner pays a monthly extortion fee at some association chairperson
