bee laughs a little, resting back against the pillows again as gabriel nuzzles their neck. "it's hard to believe i'm so adorable by just resting," they tease, a hand moving up to cup his cheek lovingly.

Bee shakes their head, but appreciates the sentiment all the same. If Gabriel says they’re adorable, then they can accept that as a fact. “I missed you, too,” they say softly, leaning over to place a kiss on his lips. “I promise… I won’t need to run off anymore now.”

noticing his mouth, bezviel furrows their brows. “is there something I need to know?” they ask softly. “surely you know you needn’t hide anything from me.”

they close their eyes at his touch, cradling their head ever so gently. they’re quiet for a long few moments, before nodding slowly. “Yes… I’m… okay.”

“I’m trying to cut all of my ties to Hell,” they admit quietly. “Sometimes it has to be done quickly and at a certain time, lest it fail…” They don’t want him upset or worried, and they can feel that he is a bit of both.
