Great day last week with students at Ysgol Bryn Tawe building raised beds in the garden. Diwrnod gwych gyda plant Ysgol Bryn Tawe yn adeiladu yn yr ardd, yn barod am y plannu. Doilch am y gwaith galed 👍
The @keepbritaintidy 2023 Best of the Best – Young Volunteer of the Year Award goes to… Jaiden Daniels from SwanseaCommunityFarm! Huge congratulations Jaiden🥳#GreenFlagWales
The sun was shining Ysgol Maesydderwen & the ground surprisingly soft, making light work of planting an Orchard in the school community garden. Thanks for the help Harvey Lloyd, Lucas Girling & Corey Lewis. #localplacesfornature #communitygarden #foodgrowing #Orchard Keep Wales Tidy
The cubs and Scouts at Fforestfach Scouts planted the fruit trees as part of their Wildlife Garden. Great effort everyone...even after a sleep out! 😴 #localplacesfornature #orchard #treeplanting #community Keep Wales Tidy
More environmental work this week across sites - Small heritage orchards put in, bird houses and feeders for bio-diversity as part of the Keep Wales Tidy West Keep Wales Tidy RCT food development packages - thanks to our volunteers and Mark from Keep Wales Tidy
Big thanks to Keep Wales Tidy for giving Coastal Housing an orchard pack for our tenants at Ty Twyn Teg, Neath to enjoy, as well as for lending us Amy to help plant everything in. Now I can't wait to try some of this rare, heritage Welsh fruit.
We are always grateful of all our volunteers but it was great to have the help of a group of year 10's reaching for the tools in the community garden Ysgol Maesydderwen on International Woman's Day. Thanks girls plenty of soil moved and great tunes too 🎵
