Wilken says shes going to have to throw the settlement language back to the lawyers to "find something tahts workable." She says the need to find something that's "understandable and enforceable and fair."

This is key: Judge Wilken just said "I think we have problems with this" and tells the NCAA and players' attorneys you need to come up with something better. She does not like the settlement restricting NIL opportunities and thinks it will take away from athletes' opportuities.

Wilken tells the lawyers "to back to the drawing board on this point," referring to the NIL rule that deals over $600 have to be approved, and could be blocked if they're seen as pay for play.

Judge Wilken tells them to "go back to the drawing board" (with respect to restricting NIL). She also says it seems the players' attorneys and NCAA's attorneys don't seem to agree about how NIL will work despite agreeing to a settlement.
