How could 'Artificial Intelligence' create a sense of wonder? Anything it produces is a hollow recreation. Nothing can replace the skill of an artist such as Virgil Finlay whose work graces 'Fantastic Mysteries' with a pulp mysticism that cannot be replicated.

I bought this book more than three decades ago. Perusing it again these days I remember how I read about antediluvian flood myths, the unknown alien great chthonic gods, and very strange hidden mystery cults. Classic Lovecraftiana, these days this book is almost unknown.
