Spirit Employees Veterans and Reservists (SERVE) held a Memorial Day Observance with Commissioner Jim Howell as the keynote speaker. He talked about his years in the Air Force, his career in the aviation industry and how that experience now helps him serve in public office.

This morning, Home Base Wichita hosted a breakfast honoring veterans and military spouses for National Military Appreciation Month. Commissioners attended the event to express their gratitude to those who have served our country.
