Some patients w/o acute pathology might get a few doses of narcotics, but the alternative is potentially missing a life or limb threatening diagnosis because you blew someone off.

Lastly, if a pt with OUD tells you they used their normal dose and it did nothing - be concerned.

I'm a teacher in Tennessee. I was an active duty Marine. I know how to handle a weapon. I can assure you these people have never experienced an actual working high school classroom or they wouldn't be passing this nonsense. A child will die because of this.
