Three years ago today, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris started their catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan. Biden and Harris' failed leadership is to blame for the deaths of 13 brave U.S. service members and plunging the world into chaos.

This Congress, I introduced legislation to boost access to the high-quality education & training necessary to become an ARPN or RN. If lawmakers don't work together to fight the nursing shortage, America’s patient population will pay the price.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of New Jersey Congressman Bill Pascrell. Although we did not agree on many policies, he was a friend and dedicated public servant who served his constituents tirelessly. I am praying for his loved ones.

Disappointed to hear that Trumbull Regional Medical Center & Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital is closing. Moving forward, I will work with local officials and healthcare providers to help ensure residents have access to the care they deserve.

Toured the Butler Farm Show and AGR Building where the attempted assassination occurred. I am committed to identifying the security failures and making sure this massive mistake never occurs again.

Yesterday, I met with state and local law enforcement that participated in providing security at the July 13th event. We discussed their perspectives, the key failures they witnessed, and the security areas they believe need improvement.

It was an honor to attend the Portage Development Board’s local government breakfast to discuss pressing issues like inflation, supply chain delays, and outdated infrastructure.  Together, we’ll work to combat these issues and address them on the federal level.

I am heartbroken to hear of the murder of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, and several other hostages held by Hamas. Their loss is a poignant reminder to the world that this terrorist organization is unequivicollay horrific. I will continue to stand with Israel.

Tourism spurs economic growth, creates jobs, and supports local businesses across Ohio. I recently joined leaders from Lake and Ashtabula counties for a roundtable discussion on new ways we can strengthen tourism in Northeast Ohio.

Joined the Ashtabula Growth Partnership for their annual luncheon to discuss challenges facing the community. As Congress heads back to D.C. next week, I will use these conversations to guide me in my work for OH-14.

I had a productive conversation with Ohio farmers on how I can continue to support them in Congress. We even had a special guest, House Ag Committee Chairman Glenn "GT" Thompson, join us via phone. As the Farm Bill deadline approaches, it was important to hear about their priorities.

Honored to receive the American Legion Department of Ohio 2023 Legislator of the Year Award at the Geauga County Fair. As the son of a veteran, protecting our servicemembers remains a top priority for me in Congress.
