Earlier this week in maths, Leadhills Primary School P5-7 were gathering data using frequency charts. We popped in to P1-4 to find out what everybody's favourite pet is! Unsurprisingly, dogs and cats proved the most popular. @MrsFrenchLPS Miss Slater SLC Numeracy and Mathematics
An integral part of learning subtraction is building understanding of the concept, beginning with concrete materials. Today we were using digital technology to create bar charts. We were able to gather our data using frequency charts and then display it digitally in a spreadsheet using the "Insert Chart" tool. Super work from everyone! @MrsFrenchLPS Leadhills Primary School SLC Numeracy and Mathematics
On Wednesday Leadhills Primary School P1-7 had a blast at our Christmas party. There was lots of games, presents and story time with Santa and some traditional Scottish ceilidh dancing. @MrsFrenchLPS Miss Slater
