An outstanding bunch of P7s in their final Ladeside Assembly. Joined by ex pupils piping them in and lots of our friends and families who sang, clapped and cheered them on their way!

Can’t even begin to express the words to explain how much this group has meant to me over the last 2 years. We’ve learned, laughed and travelled beyond limits. I am so excited to hear about their next adventure. Happy Holidays everyone 🤩❤️☀️

A great first week back. So far we have enjoyed playing and exploring our school grounds 🌳

On Thursday we had a trip to the gym hall to play with some of the equipment 🤩🏀

The Blue Room pupils have enjoyed making their own play doh and salt dough for models. We have been using these opportunities to develop friendships and communicate with each other

Today the Blue Room had a blast at Zetland park. We loved taking on the incredible bike track and playing on the swings and slides 🚲🛝

A busy afternoon in the Blue Room where we created a model town to go with the box of cars we have. C & H were able to share ideas and make compromises/changes with each other 🏘️🏬🚙

We are always looking for new ways to stay engaged in outdoor play. Today H had some fun with a giant exercise ball in the playground ⭐️🪩

The Blue Room enjoyed the visit to the PE hall today. We use this time as an opportunity to explore new games and activities such as climbing and basketball 🐒🏀

To continue yesterday’s play thread of ‘toy town’, H wanted to create little people. She created characters, named them, gave them back stories, cut them out and finally used tape to self-laminate each one 🤩🏬🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🧍‍♂️🧍‍♀️

R displayed some incredibly clever tech skills to transform into a scary dinosaur 🦖👏

C enjoyed exploring the tyres for potatoes… we didn’t expect to find nearly 30!!! Time to turn these into tasty wedges 🥔😋

C used these giant cards to make a pyramid. Check out how far we got!!! 🃏♦️♠️

H was using sand to hide letters and then order them. We then moved onto colouring, where we took turns selecting colours for me to use ⭐️⌛️🔠

Balloon craft was yesterday’s activity of choice.. I especially loved the hats 😅👒🎩

R and C had the excellent idea to try and paper mache the balloon animals. I can’t wait to see how these turn out 🎈🐶🐕🖌️🎨

On Tuesday we had a visit to sunny Callander Park ☀️🛝

Yesterday R and C went on a short cycle down to the river Carron. We used a couple of nets (one homemade) to explore the local ecosystem within the river and even caught a fish or 3 🐟🚲 (all remained safely in the water 😁)
