Can I just say I haven’t slept all week - I’ve been terrified about stepping foot in a secondary school again and I CRIED in the middle of my talk reliving all those bullying memories BUT I got through it and can only ever be my honest self even if that involves crying!!

A lovely day with Year 7 and 8 students from 3 schools! Talked about my writing journey, bullying, #LGBTQ history, and #MariahCarey . I got to sign a book for a trans student with their chosen name. Bright, thoughtful kids! And look at this well-thumbed copy of Glitter Boy!
