.MoPIED, in collaboration with the South West State Ministry of Planning, concluded a five-day training on M&E skills in Baidoa. Eighteen officials participated, acquiring modern data collection and analysis techniques to strengthen their project oversight skills.

2/2 H.E. Mohamud A. Sheikh Farah (Beenebeene), Federal Minister of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development, officially opened the session. The workshop gathered Hirshabelle’s Ministries of Planning, Energy and Water Resources, Livestock, Agriculture, and Environment.

3/3 Members of the National Project Coordination Unit, led by Dr. Abdullahi Elmi, and the Hirshabelle Project Coordinator were also in attendance.
