Senior civil servants, including permanent secretaries, should not be allowed to avoid responsibility/accountability for their wrongdoing in office simply because they have a network of influential people who 'owe them one'. Does someone 'owe' Alex Chisholm? #PostOfficeScandal

If Post Office had a totally reliable IT accounting system it would be easy to identify criminals, show exactly how money was fraudulently obtained and where it went. They didn't - yet prosecuted demonstrably innocent SPMs to fake POL profitability #PostOfficeScandal

Did the senior civil servants at BEIS 'Sir Humphrey' ministers to stop them finding out the truth about #PostOfficeScandal and their involvement in it? There is a code of conduct for permanent secretaries. Did Alex Chisholm comply with it?

Were senior civil servants at BEIS and UKGI operating on a set of criteria and objectives they saw as above politicians. ministers and the civil service code of conduct? To whom did Alex Chisholm think he was answerable? #PostOfficeScandal

Fred Wubbington (@maaleeshhabibi) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Did Alex Chisholm 'go rogue' or 'go native' and act to prevent MPs and ministers finding the truth about #PostOfficeScandal? Did he facilitate Post Office spending £100 million of PUBLIC MONEY on an attempted heavyweight legal cover up? Perhaps he should be asked - on oath.

Can Core Participants to Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry make suggestions and/or recommendations to Sir Wyn Williams or the Inquiry secretariat of names of individuals who might well have very important evidence #PostOfficeScandal Paul Marshall Flora Page

There are civil servants and Post Office employees who directly contributed to the damage caused by #PostOfficeScandal but now skip away claiming 'nothing to do with me'. If you authorised finance of lawyers defending the GLO you are responsible.

It's a funny old World: usually it is lots of other hacks shamelessly taking credit for Nick Wallis dogged research over many, many years. Quite nice to see roles reversed. #PostOfficeScandal

The former BEIS permanent secretary and principal (not principle) accounting officer allowed Post Office to spend over £100 million of public money on legal fees defending the utterly indefensible. I think he knew. I think he should be asked. #AlexChisholm #PostOfficeScandal

Number of individuals were paid large salaries from public funds to provide the adult supervision and the common sense overlay to Post Office insanity. Russell, Swanell, Cooper and Callard failed. Alex Chisholm failed seriously and facilitated extension of the #PostOfficeScandal

You have had no response because senior civil servants are using their tried and tested Sir Humphrey tactics to delay, deflect and deny any progress. SPMs have annoyed and exposed them and they will avenge any such audacity. They are not accountable. #PostOfficeScandal

While on his hols, I wonder if Alex Chisholm will spare a thought for the innocent subpostmasters, the continued abuse of whom, he helped finance while Post Office principal accounting officer. Why hasn't he been asked to give evidence before Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry? #PostOfficeScandal

Fred Wubbington (@maaleeshhabibi) 's Twitter Profile Photo

So Greg Clark knew, confirmed he knew, and then let Post Office keep going with their abuse. Was the permanent secretary heading him off? #PostOfficeScandal

Would be so much easier, transparent, less corrupt and less prone to unjust cover ups if civil service mandarins were easy peel by law. #PostOfficeScandal #DutyofCandour #AlexChisholm

I suspect more meddling and mis-direction of ministers by senior civil servants attempting to cover up their misdeeds/those of 'friends'. They can keep lying and obscuring because after they are caught they still keep their job, pension - and then get honours. #PostOfficeScandal

Fred Wubbington (@maaleeshhabibi) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I so wish he would do an interview and expose what is really going on at Post Office. I suspect there are too many bent 'influencers' making sure he doesn't : has he been made to sign an NDA? #PostOfficeScandal

Fred Wubbington (@maaleeshhabibi) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Senior civil servants can knowingly make very poor decisions facilitating, prolonging huge miscarriages of justice, face no accountability, retire early on a huge pension and a knighthood - then take up lucrative private sector directorships. British fair play? #PostOfficeScandal

Fred Wubbington (@maaleeshhabibi) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I see from Phase 7 timetable for Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry that Sir Alex Chisholm will have a chance, on oath, to admit nothing, remember less and blame it all on the Pony Express. #PostOfficeScandal

One of the hot water cylinders supplied by you was faulty, leaked and it is now taking forever for anyone at Huws Gray to do anything about it. Appalling service.
