May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month. Preliminary 2023 statistics indicate there were 2,459 crashes involving motorcycles. In these crashes, 2,141 people were injured and 175 people were killed.

Another round of storms will move into NE KS and NW MO this evening and continue overnight. A few of these storms could be strong, with hail, gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and flooding possible. These storms continue into Thu, with more strong storms possible Thu afternoon.

A tornado watch has been issued for parts of Kansas and Missouri until 11 PM CDT
