Our Proactive Team 1 officers were on Southcroft Rd when drawn to vehicle due to manner of driving. Intel showed the car registered in North London but insured in York 🤔

Officers detained the driver for a drug search. Inside the vehicle officers found 40 snap bags of Cocaine!

Very busy few days for the London crews with many takings across the capital.

Last night TWO cloned vehicles didn’t want to stop for our Intercept / Spider units. One crashed, we tracked the other. 2 gave it legs & hid in a bush. 3 in custody & 2 stolen cars recovered 👌

Today we met with Soho Police for a meeting to discuss the ongoing issues with motorbikes on Frith Street & around #Soho . We will continue to work with Soho Police & the team to reduce the anti social behaviour from motorbikes. This will include education, enforcement and S59 warnings.

Colleagues from Metropolitan Police made us aware of a vehicle of interest traveling towards #Colchester today.
We allocated officers who stopped the vehicle near to #MarksTey and found a large quantity of class A drugs in the vehicle. Driver arrested, vehicle recovered.

The driver decamped and was located by NPAS London Met Police Taskforce

Driver was located nearby & arrested and charged for several driving offences, drug driving & was wanted for other offences.

Today marks 40 years since WPC Yvonne Fletcher was shot and killed on duty as she policed a protest in St James’s Square.

This morning Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley visited the scene and laid a wreath in Yvonne’s memory.
