Objective: at the end of this unit, I can present on a topic that I am passionate about with 100% completion in ALL assessment steps.

A highlight of my day was witnessing the smiles and laughter from students during the VAPA/Prop 28 push-in and introducing Drama One Curriculum to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade at JMA. Thank you for sharing the photos Mrs. Archuletta.

Today was an excellent day at Buckley Elementary, where students in kindergarten through third grade engaged in learning the art of line types and patterns, drawing inspiration from the works of Paul Klee.

The Luau Spirit Assembly at JMA was a tremendous success. Our Student Lighthouse Leadership team did an outstanding job presenting Habit One: Be Proactive. A special thank you to the staff who distributed leis to all students in celebration of Hawaii Day.

Powerful sharing and learning happening at the Burton Elementary staff meeting this afternoon as they shared their progress with Leader in Me goals as well as ways to build emotional bank accounts with students.

This week at BES was fantastic for Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA), with a wonderful variety of beginning, intermediate, and advanced artists exploring their creativity. A first-grade student described it as "satisfying.”

Congratulations to BES on an excellent display of teamwork during the first intramural cheer and varsity basketball game of the fall season! Well done, team!
