A little something I put together for our special day of the year. Congratulations to all ⁦Liverpool John Moores University⁩ students but especially ⁦JMU Journalism⁩. Lovely shot of ⁦Liv Heslington⁩ and programme leader ⁦FranYeoman⁩ that sums up what graduation means to all.

The emotional, powerful opening to BBC 5 Live Sport from Mark Chapman was so moving but is also a reflection of how the entire sports team and station feel with their thoughts and love towards John Hunt ❤️

Terribly sad news. Such an encouraging figure in my early days Sky Sports News. We didn’t cross paths much given our commitments, but when we did, he was always so encouraging and I looked up to him.

Oh no! What a lovely man and top player. A pleasure to watch, to interview and get to know. Such a popular team mate, his colleagues must be devastated. Thoughts with them and family. RIP

After Olympic glory, great sport, great stories, great interviews, brilliant commentaries, it’s back with a bang! Just heard the question posed to radio listeners, “what have we learned from the Community Shield?”😴😕

As JMU Journalism prepares for a new academic year, good for our new intake and all our hard working students to know Liverpool John Moores University is rising up the The Guardian league tables for studying journalism. Up 10 places to 14th. Great boost too for the team under FranYeoman. #journalism

Today we honor the memory of all those we lost on September 11, 2001. May we never forget their stories – and the bravery of our first responders and troops who sacrificed so much.

It’s tradition! The annual JMU Journalism induction visit to Aintree for Sports Journalism students. Always enjoyable & enlightening. Thanks as ever to our amazing guide Jane Clarke Aintree Racecourse and The Jockey Club. An iconic sporting venue that has produced so many stories.
