I can tell it’s colder tonight. A huge spider has claimed the kitchen. Its legs are too big for the glass and card evacuation kit. Came to the bedroom, 2nd story, and there’s a huge slug on the windowsill. I’ve put it outside, avoiding the kitchen. Hope I’m alone in this bed 👀

I’m learning the piano, it’s slow progress, but I’ve nearly mastered ‘Alouette’. It makes me smile, as I pound the keys I’m taken back to Ionian’s rugby club. John Cherry (RIP John) would lead the sing-a-long. This song was fondly performed, I only know the words of rugby version
