Thanks Journal of Endourology for highlighting our work. Many men benefit from maximal symptom improvement while on active surveillance. The accompanied PSA drop to <2 also remedies patient/clinician PSA anxiety.

Outstanding work by Morgan Black, MS3 at IU, for her first place poster on renal function recovery after HoLEP in patients with CKD. Roughly 6 pt improvement in GFR for CKD 3&4, no change for CKD 5. No patients with further decline of GFR within 1 year post-op.

Congratulations to Chinade Roper, an MS3 at IU for her 2nd place poster on ejaculatory and erectile function outcomes following HoLEP! Overall no change in SHIM/IIEF-5 at 3 months. Retrograde ejaculation occurs in most, but with no significant change in bother.
