🪷The clear, cool water in the Lily Pool Garden is studded with delicately fragrant lilies nestled among glossy lily pads, beckoning visitors to sit beside it and enjoy its tranquillity.🪷

As you enter Winterbourne Garden from the Meadow, you will be greeted by a serene transition. The Meadow gradually transforms into a more shaded area, featuring abundant deep borders adorned with a diverse array of low-level, deep purple and light pink Hydrangea macrophylla.

In the warmer month of July, two pots on the Carpet Garden’s terrace yield luscious lemons. These citrus trees spend the cooler winter months sheltered in the estate’s greenhouses but come alive in the summer when relocated to the carpet garden’s sun-drenched patio area.

We recently hosted two Copper Foil Stained Glass workshops led by glass artist Sarah Davis. Guests created stained glass decorations using copper foiling methods and enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea. Why not join one of our October or November workshops? bit.ly/4fqWV78

🐔Welcome home, Henrietta! 🐔 His Majesty The King has rehomed British Hen Welfare Trust’s one-millionth hen at Highgrove Gardens! The British Hen Welfare Trust works to rehome commercial laying hens. Named Henrietta by His Majesty, she arrived with 29 other hens earlier this month.

Welcoming Henrietta to her new coop! 🐔 His Majesty The King has rehomed our ONE MILLIONTH hen at Highgrove Gardens in Gloucestershire. Our millionth hen, named Henrietta by His Majesty, along with 30 feathered friends are settling into their wonderful new home. The Royal Family

🌼 Nature's beauty in bloom! The Echinacea purpurea 'Bressingham hybrids' are thriving in the Kitchen Garden. Did you know they are a popular herb with medicinal properties? 🐝What would you use these lovely flowers for? Tea, tincture, or simply admire their beauty?

The Stumpery has transformed into a lush foliage wonderland. As you step in, your eyes are drawn to a naturally shaped pool encircling a magnificent stone tower, from which a lush canopy of Gunnera manicata, also known as giant rhubarb, extravagantly unfurls itself.💧🌿☀️

🌾 It's that time of year again! Our Wildflower Meadow has just undergone its annual cut using the traditional method of scything. This age-old practice helps maintain our meadow's biodiversity and provides crucial winter fodder for our livestock. 🌿
