Leighton James was my first swans hero. He was the standout player in my early memories of the swans and Wales. A pivotal player in our first top flight season. He was who I wanted to be as a five year old. RIP

I think one problem with Welsh football is the lack of players going abroad to play. Look at the Slovak squad. Full of players playing all over Europe often playing European football. Our players who aren't premier standard go to championship or league one and miss out on this.

6 months on from having my shoulder op and finally able to do most things again. In light of recent events it’s worth noting. Two nurses, the registrar and the anaesthetist were all immigrants from Asia. Proud to live in a diverse country.

I think we’ve done well with transfers this summer. Could have done with one or two more faces in case of injuries. But brought in youngsters with the potential to sell on. We’ve also paid fees which is more than a lot of clubs.
