It's a similar situation in North Down where I am. You can't be all things to all people - unionist unity might be an aspiration but it is clearly not a reality. Any candidate will have different stances on different issues. It is only fair the electorate is given choice.

I have been accepted onto my course! I will be re-entering education to study fitness, a passion of mine I hope to turn into a career. I'm withdrawing from party politics to do this. Will still contribute to moderate unionism where I can as an independent unionist. 🇬🇧🏳️‍🌈

LGBT people are particularly prone to this. The damage to mental health is terrible. It's why we need to ban conversion therapy.
