Great news! Giant Food opened a new 64,000 square foot store at 12028 Cherry Hill Rd! This is a great addition to the community. The store will also provide free health screens, access to licensed nutritionists, vaccines, and more.

Montgomery Council voted unanimously Tuesday for the adoption of Bill 3-22. Sponsored and introduced by Councilmember Councilmember Tom Hucker and Council President Gabe Albornoz , Bill 3-22 would require climate assessments for new legislation going forward.

This groundbreaking legislation will help local lawmakers make impactful decisions through a climate lens and preserve the environment. These assessments will also safeguard our public health, lessen poverty, and minimize the impact of climate change to our County residents.
