We can’t safeguard our oceans and the abundance of life they support without effective enforcement of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs). MPAs are special zones designated by the government that protect delicate ocean ecosystems by regulating human activity.

Nest #001 excavation

The first nest laid in the year 2024 hatched.
The nest had 97 eggs. There were 69 eggs hatched. This had a 71.13% success rate.
It's awesome to have a good start for the year in #seaturtleconservation

Oh no!
This morning, Bahari Hai received information from KWS on a #washedashore #dead loggerhead sea turtle. The team rushed to the scene, and through support with the community, we buried the turtle.

It is a sad state seeing a fully grown turtle die in unclear circumstances.
