Lander University freshman Dominic Stanford (Kempsville HS) was named Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Year. He averaged 9.2 points and 3.4 rebounds for the Division II school in South Carolina. He is he first Bearcat ever to be named Freshman of The Year.
