We had the amazing opportunity via Equalinks and YHA England & Wales to take our young people to a residential at Bogglehole. We support young people from one of the highest child poverty wards and it’s amazing when we are able to give opportunities to those who need it! UK Youth

Two of our scouts and one of our cubs are doing a Ramadan challenge to raise £10,000 to raise money to build four homes for the victims of the Pakistan floods, They are doing this whilst fasting, going to school etc, they have done incredibly well raise over £4,000 in 6 days!

Our explorer girls are up and out early today… they have a super exciting day planned!

Our explorers and leaders had a tour of the UK Parliament and met with our MP @Kate_HollernMP. Always lovely to see such an engaged MP

And tonight our young people have the fantastic opportunity to join in with hundreds of other young people to see how faith can impact climate change. So important to have youth voice at the centre of change! What a stunning location Natural History Museum @NazLegacy

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. We had planned to attend #WSJ2023 but the universe had other plans. Instead join us in summer 2023 as we head to #Pakistan There’s how some do internationals, then theres 1V Internationals

Our first full day in #Islamabad was Friday, so we had planned to pray Jummah (Friday prayers) in one of the truly stunning mosques of the world. We like to match… and the amount of people who asked how they could join 😅 It is hot but it’s beautiful so far #Pakistan2023

Is it even a trip to Islamabad if it doesn’t involve a night out and meal to Monal. Stunning views and a perfect escape from the heat! And we timed our return to perfection as the storm hit as we got back to our accommodation. #pakistan2023

Day 2… Murree The closest hill station to Islamabad and much cooler then the cities. Our first taste of the beautiful landscapes of the country and they were 🤌🏾 And what trip to Pakistan is complete without some pink Kashmiri tea. As they explorers said “it slaps!”

Life often gives us curveballs we never expected. Day 4 of the pakistan trip was one of our most stressful in scouts. Things didn’t go to plan, we missed flights, were stranded and had the prospect of a trip cut short. Yet we rallied, persevered and found a way through

We have left islamabd and started our travels to the north. Naran is stunning, the drive to Gilgit will leave you speechless. Forget Switzerland people… pakistan is calling!

Day 6 we stayed Serena Hotels Asia. As much as we love the outdoors and camping…we are all about balance! We stayed at Gilgit Serena which was stunning beyond words and what a view 😍

Rakaposhi stbadubg there in 6000+ m in all its glory. It’s the only mountain that you can see the whole mountain from the ground up. 1V Scouts internationals are a little special 💚
