The good news is that #bitmap is the strongest narrative. Its much easier to explain to newbs and always will be. The issue is the "loud voices, bad ideas posse" that has a disconnected, non-interoperable vision, and a delusional belief that their narrative is bullet proof.

Updated floating island concept: - replaces the "bitcoin wallet" w/ a "bitcoin identity disk". Personal, parcel, and agent iDs. - instead of only .bitmap, a more inclusive mix of .ai, .x, raw inscriptions, etc. We need simplicity that appeals to all, not degen mumbo jumbo.

There’s this really weird idea going around that you have to choose between a pump n dump scheme, and a boring Crapoverse. There’s a middle ground where people don’t scare away animoca brands by poo-pooing structure, portals, names, and acting like they’re the bosses of bitmap.

The idea that decentralization is the #1 thing on #bitmap is a toxic recipe for a boring Crapoverse that begs to be surpassed by innovation. “Bitmap is bitcoin” is a laughably false equivalence designed to help you cope with 10 years of boredom. Bitmap must reject these ideas

The floating island could have top names like casino.ai, or harrypotter.bitmap, but could also have bobsoffice.bitmap where bob has his team meets, or "thesmiths" for family meets. On-chain assets like brc20 2.0 could have a purpose. Maybe embed atlas to search?

We probably need a new BITMAP chat. This would be a place for adult thinking, investor friendly ideas, real interoperability using on-chain names and assets, with a hope to attract big tech, brands, tech mogals, and most importantly, highly sought after coding talent.

BRC20 2.0 could create interesting investor opportunities. Maybe you could buy gasless "commodity" coins from already established tickers (fuel, wood, etc.), or create new ones (copper), and create a metaverse where you need many different resources to build your structures?

Shouldn't everyone that cares about decentralization be super excited about BRC20 2.0? Instead of relying on 1 token created by potentially bad actors, you have a diversity of gasless tokens, 2 years of thermodynamics, cool tickers, that can serve a range of multiversal purposes

So $trac stole my fun narrative, named their stuff hyperfun, yet have not announced any plans to build on bitmap - the only real chance for fun on ordinals. What supposed to be fun about it? Trading trac? Watching nats inflate? Sounds more like hyper-boring. Gimme #brc20

The "Bitmap Innovation" chat has been started. I couldn't add everyone who liked the initial message since i think they need to follow me back first? Its just a place for good ideas, the only rule is don't complain about centralization, because this chat doesn't care.

If you don't "sign in" to bitmap with some kind of protocol level wallet that designates your identity, ai agent, map #, etc., then how can bitmap be truly interoperable? Woudn't it then be more likely people will build mediocre apps that aren't compatible with each other?

Was Fortnite a grift because it had in-app purchases? Or, did it create a perfect storm, where kids were more motivated to compete, and the game devs and creative execs were more motivated to come up with the best ideas and implementations? Monetization isn't always a grift.

10.bitmap (@10bitmap) 's Twitter Profile Photo

One of the biggest grifts in ordinals today is the idea that killer apps often come from individuals. They don't, it's almost exclusively from well funded teams w/ in-demand talent. Even the one notable exception - the Minecraft guy - had a long resume working on big projects.

If ai bots are going to be a thing, shouldn’t they be linked to .ai inscriptions on bitcoin? Otherwise, they’re not really multiversal. They just exist on whatever social platform they exist on, but if their “core brains” can be on bitcoin, they’re everywhere forever.

DMT tried to make lame bitcoin fields a thing. Rare Sats try to make lame historical events a thing. Normies will never care. If you don't have normies, it's not world changing. It's just a bunch of degens (aka legends!) hi-fivin each other on social media.
